Please only RSVP if you intent to attend in person in Amsterdam. If you want to be made aware of when the recording is published follow us on YouTube or LinkedIn.\n\nWe would like to thank our sponsor\u002Fhost JetBrains for making this event possible.\n\n Schedule:\n\n18:00 doors open\n18:00 - 18:30 walk-in, food & drink\n18:30 - 18:45 welcome & introduction\n18:45 - 19:45 Stefan Pölz - Never send a human to do a machine's job\n19:45 - 20:15 break \u002F socializing\n20:15 - 21:15 Matthias Koch - From Guesswork to Ground Truth: Rider Skills for AI Agents\n21:15 - 21:45 socializing\n21:45 doors closing\n\nStefan Pölz - Roslyn Source Generators -Never send a human to do a machine's job\n\nRoslyn Source Generators are the latest metaprogramming technique to add C code to your compilations. Since their inception in .NET 5, these compiler extensions have become more and more prevalent in our projects and have proven to be integral to a productive development workflow. Not only do they automate maintaining repetitive boilerplate code and help to avoid Reflection for faster and trim-friendlier apps, but they also replace dynamic code to enable Native AOT scenarios.\n\nEvery recent release of the C language has added features to continuously improve their capabilities, such as partial types and members, module initializers, file-scoped types, and Interceptors. Driven by modern C, the BCL as well as libraries from the NuGet ecosystem ship powerful Generators, like compile-time regular expressions, high-performance logging, and ASP.NET Core Request Delegate Interception.\n\nAfter exploring common usage scenarios and the mechanics of the Compiler's programming model, in this session, we will write, test, debug, and publish our very own Incremental Source Generators. Live.\n\nIn other words, would you like to know more about Roslyn Source Generators?\n\nStefan Pölz\nStefan's passion is to practice Clean Code and test-driven development in order to build maintainable high-performance software in an ever-evolving team, supported by tools from the .NET Ecosystem. He loves to attend and speak at public developer events, co-organize local community gatherings, stream live programming sessions, and author open source projects, complementing his expertise in professional software development. As Microsoft MVP (Developer Technologies), JetBrains Community Contributor (.NET) and co-organizer of DotNetDevs.at, it's his ambition to share knowledge about everything C.\n\nMatthias Koch - From Guesswork to Ground Truth: Rider Skills for AI Agents\nAI agents can write code, but they become much more useful when they can draw on Rider’s understanding of the project.\nIn this talk, we’ll look at Air in Rider and the skills that help agents debug runtime issues, find the right place for tests, perform safer refactorings, analyze performance data, and verify their changes with inspections and formatting.\nWe’ll focus on practical examples and the benefits these skills bring: less guesswork, fewer correction cycles, safer changes, and faster feedback. We’ll also briefly touch on framework-specific .NET skills and Unreal Engine workflows.\n\nMatthias Koch\nMatthias is a passionate C developer and likes to talk about clean code, testing and tooling in general. Much of his spare time is devoted to his very own open-source projects. He is working at JetBrains as developer advocate for the .NET department.\n\n---\nPrivacy policy\nWe may photograph or film speakers and attendees for use in online or printed promotions.
